brassTV is a magazine-style TV show about young adults, money and real world stuff™. It is not a financial show, though it contains plenty of financial content. It’s not a reality show, though it’s rooted firmly in reality.

You may recognize Ray Blackwell from brassTV. He’s a student who brass Founder/CEO Bryan Sims met on the Young Today Rich Tomorrow Tour through New York State. Now a high school graduate, Ray has continued to follow his dreams in music and in cooperation with brass has released a new song for brassTV. It’s All Rockable features Ray Blackwell while his brother, Eric Blackwell, takes care of the beats and vocals. The song even features their mother, Kathy Blackwell, on guitar. With a message that if you follow your dreams, anything is possible, brass is proud to present it’s joint venture with Tice Records, It’s All Rockable.

The teachers have spoken! Thank you to all the teachers who have shared their thoughts with us and passed along the brassTV trailer. Below are just a few of the responses we’ve received about brassTV from teachers.
“Wonderful! I have passed this along to the President of the BTANYS. Also, I remember the keynote and anytime that I am talking to teachers about BRASS, I tell them that I thought he was the most dynamic “kid” I had ever heard speak. He was fantastic.”

Thanks for supporting brassTV! Below is a video we put together about how important it is for students to understand money and why Oprah should do a show on it. If you send an e-mail into her show or others, be sure to include the link (seen below) and post it in the comments below for others to see.
Welcome to Sharebrass.com. This site is all about getting you involved in our current efforts at brass|MEDIA–right now that means sharing our most recent project, brassTV, with as many people as we can. This is the home for brassTV–at least until it’s picked up by a major TV network. And that’s where you come in. If you haven’t yet seen the trailer you can watch and learn more about it here.
Take a little time and look around. If you aren’t already familiar with brass, you’re in for a treat. You can find out just what we do (aside from creating a TV show documenting it all), like producing brass|MAGAZINE for a half a million young adults and providing entertaining content to help them make, manage, and multiply their money. If you’re in a hurry, head straight to the Action Center and find out how you can help with just a few minutes of your time. Then, be sure to come back and check for updates and new ways to spread the word.
There’s a reason people are passionate about brass, a company for young adults, by young adults. Gen Y is in financial crisis and we literally can’t afford to wait any longer to share crucial info about money and real world stuff™ with our generation. But we can’t do it alone. We need other changemakers like you to help us get the word out. Let us know what you think and thanks for stopping by!
